>To which, I say the same thing, if there is a crime he should be charged, tried, convicted, and serve an appropriate sentence. So please tell me what crime was revealed by the Hunter Biden laptop?
Well, you have a Burisma executive thanking Hunter for setting up a meeting with his father, in direct opposition to Joe's statement that he never was involved in Hunter's business affairs. A meeting that was for some reason left off Vice President Biden's official VP schedule and held in secret. That should be a big deal, and would be a big deal to you if the names were Donald and Jared instead of Hunter and Joe.
BUT THAT IS TOTALLY BESIDE THE FUCKING POINT. It doesn't matter what is on the laptop, what matters is that it looked damaging to Biden, and all of the big media companies, in lockstep, declared that it was false without evidence and removed any links to the story from their platform. That isn't "being a social platform." That is "Being an editor of a publication" and the way that 230 is currently interpreted they are all shielded from libel law simply because they did it online, not in a print publication. Libel/Slander law exists for a reason, and although I already disagree that it is proper to shield the media companies from their own statements by using 230, 230 is vague enough that it has allowed tech company friendly judges to interpret it that way, so it clearly needs amended to remove this absolutely bullshit loophole.
>A bunch of other bullshit.
Yeah buddy, keep telling yourself that the "Fascists" are the ones that are opposed to a marriage between the big media companies and one of the political parties leading to editing the information people are allowed to see in order to keep that party in power.
