I just said it is funny when they go after the single dude doing this, but in the meantime companies open up manufacturing plants in China, who in turn steal all their IP, and then compete in the Western market with cheaper goods.

And now what is the US worried about? Cheap Chinese EVs coming to the market and destroying their domestic brands so they need to slap massive tariffs on the products.
