Well, I’ll agree that permanent membership is problematic. It was probably needed to ratify the treaty back in the day. Should certainly be changed. It members should be elected. If you base everything on GDP it’s a farce. The entire world isn’t meant to be ruled by the rich like the US and UK. Some countries believe in more equitable society.

However, the UN is currently the only world body that exists. If one of the members of the security council are the aggressor, their vote should be nullified; why is this not already a feature.
