Re the UN: My idea (that has no hope of ever happening) is that the Securiry Council seats should be reselected every 100 years on the basis of top GDP, or some other provable metric.

It doesn't make sense to have Russia forever on the council because they 'won WW2.' I mean what is 80 years from now they are the 35th biggest economy, are they still going to have veto powers, which allows them to invade without retailation.

The UN is doomed to irrelevance like the League Of Nations unless their are methods for it to change with the times.
