Because there is a feature of the system that makes it great, similar to gold. Stock in companies is different, because companies can go under and cease to exist. Gold can't go under, and can't cease to exist. Same for Bitcoin. It can go down, but it *always goes back up.*

Always. Every single time. Since the beginning of all recorded history of BTC, it goes down... and then rockets back up. Then goes down... and rockets back up.

Holding will still get you long-term gains. But trading will get you more gains in the long-term and short-term.

Never sell red, and always take profits. Once you hit a pre-decided profit percentage, take it. Then wait. Maybe a day, maybe a week, maybe even two weeks, but *it will dip,* and then you buy and *it will go back up.*

You might as well look at bitcoin as the Sun. It's gonna go down, but it's gonna come up again. And if it doesn't one day, well, that will mean such a catastrophic world-altering event happened that your portfolio won't matter anymore anyway.

It goes down.

It comes up.

Rinse.

Repeat.
