Before the recent update, you needed to tell GPT-4 directly “please remember . . .” Now, if I ask it a question and the context gives clues for other very minor things it will update the memory. (e.g. “has a gift card and needs to spend it before June,” “is visiting X neighborhood of [city],” etc.)

Anybody experiencing the same? I wonder if this dragnet approach is unintentional or if they really intend to add this level of specificity to whatever comes next. Thoughts?
