This is the US, a country that's like "kids deserve healthcare? hahahaha!" but it's porn that's the problem? We have politicians actively voting against ensuring kids can get a healthy lunch at school, states that are rolling back safety for children, bringing back child labor, fighting keep child marriage legal... but suddenly, somehow, it's porn that's the problem?

I'm for reasonable measures, but so far states are not really pushing reasonable measures. They're enacting ID verification that puts all the onus on the platform, and literally requires most of them to pay private companies to do the verification because they prohibit companies trying to do it themselves.

This isn't helping kids.
