Even if AGI will be created tomorrow, it will be compute constrained and also time constrained- let’s say it will be able to do job of one million people and it won’t even have “time” (compute) to do much more than those people would. Maybe it could do few thousand people’s job superhumanely. And even when we will add more compute - companies that own physical assets, like factories, mines, shops, or even brands, e-commerce etc. needs to implement AI, which takes years-to-decades. Like it won’t be automatically granted CEOs rights to do anything it wants in every company. People like people and trust people and for AI to infiltrate every company, run for president, overthrow dictators, gain everybody trust, take over entire organizations- that takes decades at best. Even if AI hacked every corporation, it’s not like people will say “OK, I will stop following orders of my superiors and will do what computer tells me”. Don’t get me wrong, it will absolutely change the world. But there is no world switch, single point where it could gain unlimited power over everything. In current world, even unlimited AGI can’t change everything in less than 10 years
