Okay, so this has been bothering me and I don't know what to do about it... It's been heavy on my mind, because something just feels wrong about the whole situation. This feels like the right place to ask, but please let me know if there's a better subreddit.
At the Casey's gas station in LeRoy, IL a couple weeks ago, I noticed part of the human trafficking assistance hotline sticker had been torn off, but someone had filled in the missing words/numbers.
Then earlier this week, the sticker was torn off completely and someone had carefully rewritten all of the info by hand. My mom said the one in her stall looked like a new sticker was placed over where the old one had been removed. The same type of sticker has also been partially peeled off near the TOP of the mirrors, but none of the other stickers (the "now hiring" and "employees must wash hands" types) have been touched, even though they're right at the bottom, easily accessible.
Given that the location is close to the interstate, it feels very concerning. I feel like I should've taken pictures, but I have a rule against doing that in public restrooms.
I don't know if Casey's corporate has anything to do with the stickers, but I could try to contact them. I also don't know how to reach the hotline company without calling the actual hotline, which I will not do. It doesn't seem like a thing police would look into, especially not in a very small town. Any suggestions?
