I have some older batch of a coin (333 coints) that was sent from an exchange to cold storage maybe a year or so ago. Then I have a recent batch of the same coin (348 coins) sent from the exchange to my cold storage. If I now send both batches from my cold storage back onto the exchange and sell for USD. How do I know which coins is the trade being pulled from? Would it be better to put separate sell trades i.e. one for qty. 333 and one for qty. 348? Confused as to cap gains (FIFO) and whether there are other sell strategies for minimizing taxes. Thanks
