Invalid inference.

You can attempt to do something and fail. You even give information that would tell us why attempted mass starvation failed, namely US intervention. The efficacy of US intervention does not show that Israel did not attempt to starve the civilian population.

In fact Israeli forces are on the ground in Gaza, their is absolutely no reason why foreign aid needs to be provided. Israel is the occupying force, it's their responsibility, but all they have done is destroy food supplies, and then occasionally even blow up aid distribution vehicles that they let in. Awfully weird that they haven't blown up USAF C-17s for aiding Hamas... even though it's actually easier to lose airdropped supplies.
