I don't think AI will ever take ALL the jobs available. There will always be a human somewhere in the chain as long as there are humans left on this planet. Mainly because even with our programmed intelligence; ie a machine that packs baby wipes into boxes, we still continuously run into issues with them performing the task incorrectly. Needing humans to both check the output and perform tasks ensuring the machine stays running. I could definitely see an upto 90% reduction in human manned jobs but never 100%. I mean someone has to have the idea to open a store and sell a product, they could use AI to do everything else but unless AI is given rights like us they can't do everything and I can't see AI getting rights similar to ours or being taxed by the government mostly because of accountability. You can't hold a program responsible for any crimes it may commit. It can't be effectively jailed or rehabilitated or punished(depending on your opinion of what prison should do for a society). I mean what's 10, 20, or hell even 2000 years to an immortal program?
