Thank you, that means a lot. I can't remember the last time someone else told me that.

They did that with us, too. However, the engineers mainly focused on what safely and practically worked while the managers suggested dumb shit to cut corners. Thankfully, the managers got repeatedly shut down by reality. Either way, important changes took months to years to implement because of all the red tape.

Jesus christ, I'm so sorry that happened to you. Him physically cornerning you like that sounds traumatic enough, especially when that dude's intentions were shady as fuck. I'd cry too, stuff like that leaves a mark mentally. Glad he got promptly removed, and glad that you're safe.

Yeah, the one thing I missed from being a temp was being able to call off without having to worry about PTO. However, the whole reason I got the job was to have some form of health insurance, even if it was basic, so I had to make the switch. Took like a year for my health insurance to kick in and, by then, I had quit, so I never even got to use it. Apparently, most people took BD's health insurance only if necessary.
