The largest decentralized betting platform (SX Bet) launched cross-chain trading on Arbitrum recently + received a 500k ARB grant through the LTIPP program. They are now offering user-created markets which is super cool so I thought I’d write a little bit about them here to share them with you guys. Essentially, they’re opening the door for users to create bettable markets for pretty much anything under the sun as long as it:

* Has a clear/verifiable resolution source * Settles within 30 days (no markets that settle months from now) * Respectful and civil (no death markets, discrimination, etc.)

Aside from the fact that this opens the door for Arbitrum users to make prediction markets for just about anything they might have an edge in, they give 0.25% of the all the volume generated on the market back to the creator in $USDC bet credits.

Prediction markets have been getting more and more popular lately and there’s now an opportunity to get involved with some wild prediction markets directly from Arb. I suspect we see some good action and opportunities to make a bag coming on SX with this new feature.
