Let’s assume Biden’s support *is* as directly responsible for the loss of life there. Fine. It’s a pretty considerable CON to throw on the pile, next to a fairly big pile of PROs. Then you have Trump, whose CON pile is absolutely gargantuan by comparison.

Voting for the lesser of two evils can feel like it sucks, but a president can never be perfect and get everything right. The things he (or maybe someday she) doesn’t get right are the things that we the people have to work hard to do instead. We can’t put the hope for every issue on the back of one person and expect it to work out. Vote for Biden because he’s fixing much more than Trump would, and have the fucking backbone to work toward peace between Israel and Palestine yourself. Otherwise, you’re just saying “I care about this one issue enough to risk ruining America because neither candidate seems to agree with me on it, but not enough to put in the work myself.”

If all the protest voters, rather than whining and otherwise doing nothing(1), actually organized and supported the Palestinians in Gaza caught between Netanyahu and Hamas, how much better would the situation be? It’s time for people to wake up to the fact that Papa President isn’t capable of doing everything you ask him to do, let alone willing. Even so, you choose the one who’s doing the better job and is helping the most people across the board, not just by your one narrow metric. This time, the better choice is Biden by lightyears.

Choose a leader and know his weaknesses, so you know where to focus your effort while he shoulders the rest. He can’t do it all alone. But if a guy shows that he can bring the economy back from the brink, stand up for women and minorities, improve access to healthcare and higher education, and the other myriad things r/WhatBidenHasDone is happy to remind you about, you choose him, warts and all, and you roll up your sleeves to do what he can’t.

(1) I think lots of them are putting their money where their mouth is, but you have to admit tons of them are just protesting but not actually doing anything hard to help the situation, because they think it’s only the government’s job.
