I feel like no matter what news come up, the S&P goes up no matter what for the last months. Inflation is ~~nowhere under control~~ not where the Fed wants it but thanks to Jerome Powell talking about lowering rates in December ridiculous amounts of rate cuts were priced in throughout the last months. These have, however, been mostly priced out but current relatively high rates are probably about to stay for a while. Is anyone else ~~weary~~ wary about this situation? Inflation is still high, even higher in the last months if one annualizes them. It does not look as optimistic to me as current market trends seem to view the situation. I know, timing the market is super difficult or near impossible and I do not intend to do wait for a crash or a correction but I am more hesitant than I would usually be. I invest new money monthly, however, I am interested to hear what other people make of the current situation and with their cash positions.
