It's probably because you made a thousand assumptions from the jump, and have wrapped basic concepts in economic theories designed to explain away the effects of an increasing supply of money, i.e. inflation.
To inflate is to expand. Supplies inflate, prices do not. Prices go up or down in response to supply inflation and deflation. At one point you recognize a supply shock as the cause of increasing prices, but your so full of useless economic history lessons you fail to recognize how an increase in the supply of money, monetary inflation, spurs the demand for goods thus creating the supply shock that you blame for price increases.
Prices do not expand and contract, they go up or down in response to the supply of goods and the supply of money. Inflation was redefined from monetary inflation to price inflation to obscure this basic fact of supply and demand. You can blather on forever and continue to deny that the increase in monetary supply lead to an increase in the demand for goods which lead to rising prices but it doesn't make you correct, it just means you're deluded to the point of missing a basic truth of supply and demand.
