I'm not sure what definition of most you're using. Trump got 16M votes in the primary. There were 38M registered Republicans, so he didn't even get half of them. There are 160M total registered voters (not all States require you to register with a party), so he only had 10℅.

Primaries aren't a great gauge, since turn out is low and it's almost entirely people voting for their preferred party's candidates. Then you consider the party only put up former Trump administration officials (Haley), Trump employees (Vivek), Trump clones (DeSantis) and perennial losers (Christy and Hutchison)... It by no means shows "most" Americans want Trump.

You'd be better served in your argument using current polls on how people will vote. Its currently a tie, with neither Biden nor Trump with a majority (both at 45%).. Still not "most", but "most" didn't vote for Trump in 2020 or in 2016.
