If china invades Taiwan we are in for a shitstorm never before seen. Taiwan creates roughly 90% of chips we use in electronics. A full out war is gonna stop the exports of those chips for as long as the siege lasts. It will tear a new hole in the world nobody can even imagine. Everything uses those chips from your water heater, cooker, stove, cars, computers, even basic light controllers. Basicly everything that have an on-switch is not going to be easily replaceable. Probably 6-12 months in and the price of consumer electronics will 10x in price if not more. Hell. Even the internet might go down if we can't maintain the infrastructure if something breaks.
