Trying to max out 401k contributions for this current year puts me at around 21k to spread out for 17 pay periods until the end of December. I'm salaried at 75k, expecting to have higher income in the next 1-5 years.

So I think it makes sense to contribute a majority to the Roth deferred. Right now I'm doing 66% Roth, 33% Trad. It is tough to see my paychecks fall, but I think this is the right move.

It would be nice if I did all Trad as I'd have more money on hand, but I'm just not sure here. Also, I try and keep all my expenses below 1,500 a month. Thoughts? I also might just be overthinking all of this and it probably doesn't matter too much as long as I'm contributing a good amount at the end of day.
