I feel like deflation has been so negatively, even fearfully portrayed as the cause of so much financial destruction that we almost instinctively have aversion to it.

Maybe a world where your money slowly increases in value, while slowing spending and investing, would actually cool the whole system down to where the wealth divide could heal, people could find meaning aside from constant shopping, and we'd make up for cooler economy in other ways. Discussing what those ways could be would be a great discussion.

Life in the fast lane has certainly taken it's toll on humanity, and given as well.
