So, we just started this in my class. All the ways to break it down from classical up to the more modern. I almost started giving you the text book info.

To summarize my own opinion, its the brass tax. Another power may want international justice just as much as I do, but everyone wants something needs something. If power is defined by the ability to make someone do something that is not in their interest, Realism may be defined by the factors that make an actor not follow their own Ideals. gotta be militarily, agriculturally, structurally secure.
