I agree with the idea of not protecting unprofitable businesses. But two things:

1. We should still have empathy/sympathy for those that are laid off 2. Are we sure RL was an unprofitable, inefficient business? Or did PE kneecap it from the inside out? I don’t know the answer here, so I’m legit asking if that’s what happened.
