I'm telling you how people feel, and telling you that regardless of what you say to me, they will still feel this way and these arguments won't work on them. They need to feel uplifted and reassured and accounted for.

And you're just further proving my last point, why a ton of anti-capitalist leftists do not engage with liberal communities like this. Humans are emotional and stupid creatures who can't always act logically or rationally, even at the best of times. Their lives suck now and their lives are going to suck no matter who wins in November, Democrats need to strategize a way to genuinely reach them instead of pushing them further away. Otherwise they are going to seek solace in what little power they do have, and that is voting however they want.
