Yes, when I mean "artists", I mean their own management. As in, they come in with the number they want, and they don't tell livenation how to get to it.

what do you mean? Because it makes it seem like they are charging the fees *for* the artists, not for themselves. It makes them look less of the bad guys.
And yes, this monopoly has artists by the balls, so there's not exactly a big choice anymore with who to go with in touring.
