Yes, and good luck on convincing the American people of that. Your average liberal and republican will not believe that chain of logic because it's abstract and not tangible. The vast majority of people aren't working at NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, TSMC, ASML, etc. so it's way above their paygrade and telling them to believe that "semiconductors are important" is not going to work. Compare that to telling the why oil matters where the dumbest of the dumb understand.
