>According to SpaceX, they knew the second the special ops were using Starlink offshore approaching Crimea.

not true, Urkraine SOF never let the state department know what was up. It caught them completely by surprise that Crimea was and never has had access with Starlink as it is sanctioned territory as per the State Department.

SpaceX got a call at 4am in the morning asking them wtf why did the starlink system stop transmitting on the classified Crimea assault. Ukraine never checked in to see if there would be issues, they caught themselves blind.

>So a lag of at most hours for the CEO to be alerted by the Starlink staff for something that wasn’t to that point even an internal company policy.

Correct it wasn't SpaceX it was the State Departments policy, SpaceX was following the rules and never had Crimea allowed access it was always not going to work.

>If Starlink was hard geofenced, then the Russians wouldn’t have been able to use it in Crimea or the Donbas this year, while the Ukrainians couldn’t.

would like to see this evidence? Ukraine could never use it in Crimea, not sure about Donbas as its an active warzone so a gray area for the State Department's sanctions.
