I’m 30 and never bought any bonds outright.

I do have a pension plan as part of my retirement. Honestly I’ve always just considered it the same thing as a bond. The principal grows super slow like 4% a year slow even in times like now I’ve never seen it go above 4%…. It honestly drives me crazy because I’m not sure if I’m going to be a state employee long enough to really get the benefit, but maybe I will… idk.
