This is a conspiracy theory of mine, but I think most if not all of the most powerful world leaders aren’t actually religious even (and especially if) they claim to be, because it’s more advantageous to be personally irreligous yet outwardly religious if you look at social climbing and power politics from a Machiavellian point of view (which is more often than not the only point of view, if you want to be number 1).

For example, I don’t think the USA has ever had a real Christian president. Trump definitely isn’t.

But who knows, maybe that doesn’t apply to all nations, or I’m just coping. @_@
