As a web developer I always get concerned when a website I normally know and trust can't even get a nice "Down for maintenance" page to show up for visitors ... and right now Coinbase is showing like a default "503 Service Unavailable" message. I know down time happens, but being ... THIS down with a 503 error. G'damn.

Interestingly, on the status page [https://status.coinbase.com/](https://status.coinbase.com/) they list a Systemwide Outage, but then down below they say the website and app are down for "Scheduled maintenance" but that seems like a bunch of bs. You don't throw a site wide 503 for schedules maintenance.

Anyway everything is fine here nothing to see, move along sir.
