For a comparison though, people were still using IE6 in large organisations well into the 2010s. Had to still account for it in a few projects from around 2013-2015... this is ridiculously quick for end of life.

Especially since they initially touted Windows 10 as never needing another windows version because the low level system changes meant they didn't need to rely on traditional DOS and could change things significantly without a new release.
