Yeah, kind of, sure real wages are now slightly above 2019 levels (and trending down). Even though CPI doesn't capture all of the price increases, I will agree by historical standards there's probably been historically strong wage growth. But this only means the growth has been slightly better than stagnant, and absolutely nothing in comparison to the overall wealth generated. It also ignores the higher cost of money, which has an enormous impact on the economy. Looking at wages alone is just not enough to conclude the median individual is in an objectively better financial situation today.
