I don't understand why people who know computers just assume everyone else does too. Then feel some type of way when someone just doesn't know "simple" shit like they do. No one is born knowing all this stuff, they don't teach computer literacy in schools, and a lot of people use their phone/tablet for everything. And when they do use a PC, they're mostly using the Chrome. So yeah. People don't know how to open Paint. Some people don't even know how to even power on a desktop. Not talking about you specifically, but I do hate the sorta elitism nerds have when it comes to use traditional PCs.
