I hope that this helps: I tried Zorin OS 17 for a few months (easy install, with the very easy to choose "dual boot" option to keep Windows intact just in case). After using my PC with both systems alternatively for months, I chose to keep Zorin: so far it has been the "least Linux experience" I had. But it *is* Linux, so you need to re-learn some things, and downright cope with some others... such as other users yucking your yum when it comes to "distros"... I can only wish that this process will go as easily with my Surface Pro 6 in October 2025. That's when I'll check again on r/SurfaceLinux in the hope that by then it'll be much easier to say goodbye to Microsoft than it is today. They can shove Recall and Copilot right where Cortana and Clippy are buried for all I care.
