This is why we have a combination padlock on our gate. We can give the code to anyone who needs it and can change the code if we want to revoke someone's access. But we aren't limited to it only being able to be opened if someone is home with the key(so if we've asked our sprinkler repair guy to stop by and we aren't home he can still get in to fix it). Ton of videos in our neighborhood social media groups of dumbass kids just walking into random backyards, and we didn't want the liability if they picked our yard and our dogs were outside.
