Yeah agreed. It is so disingenuous and false equivalency.

They always push the "wealth will leave" threat as if that has ever actually impacted anything, especially 4% on over a million. Wealth incomes are rarely spent as well. The state loses almost nothing in actual economic activity except for the things they bought in state only really (and only sales tax in terms of treasury revenue).

Guess who loves when wealth leaves a state, other wealth in the state who are now bigger players in the market and freed up market to go take.
