They won't say they will accept the results bc Trump's strategy of motivating his voters is to tell them how righteously aggrieved they all should feel that the system is rigged against him/them.

Cruz saying he will accept the results would be, at a minimum, a lost opportunity to reinforce Trump's motivating narrative of victimization (and thus earn him a talking-to from Trump), and more likely then not would make Cruz a member of the out-class among Trump and Trump supporters. Having faith in ANYTHING the government does is a rejection of the narrative that the system is against them.
