I do actually disagree, I think overall, you can’t stop progress, BUT… we are the closest we’ve ever been to tumbling into real regression.

Even then, I think on the long term, progress will still win out, nothing last forever, it just may mean decades of suffering for a lot of people.

That’s why I gladly and proudly and gladly vote for whatever little steps I can get past this electorate that’s far too right wing for my tastes.

But hey, maybe one more “rock bottom” won’t kill us this time, right?
