Alice (good) records a video on her channel, she's very famous.

Elizabeth (evil) creates a deep fake of Alice using her videos. She creates a deep fake and edits it into her video stream so that it defames Alice.

Right now there's no way to detect that and people are fucking stupidl

If Alice had all her video signed, anyone could snip Alice in their videos and use the cryptographic signatures to prove that Alice actually published the same video on her site.

ALL the tools would need support for this though.

In the future if someone links to another video, a local desktop AI would warn that the video would/could be faked.

Legit video would be like SSL as it's signed and verified to be accurate.

Otherwise we lose remix culture and you can't use fair use to cite another video on another site.
