Was high and had a thought. How close are we to being able to 3d print a custom ghost shell with cheap drone parts? Like, we could add propellers, a Raspberry Pi with a camera module running the chatgpt program, and connect it to the internet. Personal drones basically. Connect an AirPod to it for use as a microphone and earpiece, and you have a world of possible uses. For example, if you go hiking, you could send it ahead to scout for obstructions or poison ivy. We already have home devices like the Lululemon Mirror for exercise, but it’s not much different from watching a YouTube video. With a drone, it could act as a coach, identifying mistakes like improper form. If you’re training for a sport like baseball, the drone could simulate the trajectory of a two-seam fastball or slider. Or if you’re a rock climber wanting to live stream your climb without needing someone else to operate the drone, this would be perfect.
