Hey guys, I am new to this channel and to options trading as well. Trying to learn options through a few online channels but i took some risks and tried my hands on options for NVIDIA’s earnings. I bought 2 contracts- $1000 call and $1025 calls. I am up $6-$7k today and i am good with it. Just wanted to understand a few things -

1. Did i overshoot with the calls target price? Would i have made more with $960 calls for example? I thought the bigger I predict better the gains would be lol.

2. What do you guys generally look for before buying call contracts? Which metric ratio is more important to you for choosing the contract?
