>You seem to be expecting that of Joe Biden.
You seem to be putting words in my mouth. I have laid out, in detail, how I think this conflict should be handled. There are tons of people involved that would have to change what they're doing, from the leadership of Israel, to the terrorists of Hamas, to the Israeli citizens who should demand better of their leadership and hold them accountable, to the disingenuous internet trolls who try to handwave away legitimate criticism as anti-Semitism and pro-Palestinian sentiment as pro-Hamas. Joe Biden has very little actual power to make any of it happen, but he could be doing a much better job of using what little power he has.
>We are working towards that. And the only way that happens is by removing Hamas from power.
Explicitly untrue. Israeli leadership has no interest in a 2-state solution, and has said it repeatedly. Until they are replaced, every step taken is a step further away from a 2-state solution.
>How do you propose Hamas be eliminated as a threat to the Israeli people without military actions?
I'm not saying they should do it without military action, I'm saying they should do it without destroying 70%+ of Gaza. Again, I got into this conversation by saying this is a complex issue, and guess what - still true.
