I don’t ask this as an argument, but do you happen to have any ideas on how a different foreign power could deal with this mess? The problems I see include a tunnel network that prioritizes civilian areas like schools, hospitals, and housing to store weapons and barracks. Another is a populace that seems to be supportive of the hamas raids. I just don’t see how you root out an enemy that embeds themselves so thoroughly into the civilian population without astronomical civilian casualties.
