No one is saying those people shouldn't have access to AI. People are concerned that lies and propaganda might feature more prominently in AI training and AI output, which is a huge concern as people start to get more and more information that way. We're already at a point where people can barely agree on basic, objective facts. Throw AI into the mix? And shit can get very, very fucked very, very quickly.

Just partnering with News Corp, which has admittedly political goals and whose "news" entities occasionally have to define themselves as entertainment because of their outright lies, is alarming enough.
