Uhm-they made the offer to Johansson to use her voice, she said no for a number of reasons. Then miraculously, the voice they came up with sounded just like her. I’m thinking even if they didn’t actually copy her voice, they set out to make voice just like hers. I’m thinking this sounds like their intention was to copy her voice (even if they didn’t just duplicate it), it is still an infringement of her personal identity, and they shouldn’t be allowed to use a simulated voice just like hers (and should’ve used another.
