I'll take the opposite side. Until the US gets serious about antitrust (beyond the current saber rattling), the big cap companies will continue to outperform. Unregulated monopolies are money making machines and will continue to choke out smaller companies. Additionally, the new boom we're in requires enormous amounts of capex, which only the big companies can afford further hindering small cap companies.

You also explained why I'm very underweight intl. The global nature of the economy means big US companies get a lot of intl exposure anyway.
