I had to apologize to the cancellation specialist I got transferred to because I kind of cussed them out fain I canceled spectrum.
They raised my rate by about 40 bucks over the course of 3 years for the same internet. what caused me to sort of lose my shit was the cancellation specialist told me I should have called him and asked for a better rate. I told them that's the wrong business model for loyal customers and that's a load of bullshit.
also told them to take me off any fucking mailing list or calling list or like. we're sorry to see you go nonsense that you're going to add me to. I don't want to fucking hear from you. canceled you. you're not getting me back unless you can beat $50 a month. fuck off.
The person who answered when I got the mailer got an earful I didn't want to be transferred. they were going to deal with me because this is the number I called. you need to take me off whatever fucking list I'm on.
I apologize to them too cuz I realize it's not really their fault per se but I needed them to understand that. I don't want to talk to you spectrum.
