Either the conservative movement gets broken this election and loses so much support from so many places it becomes a fringe party with no pull despite the massive electoral advantage its given or they will keep pushing and getting more violent and controlling and society tries to resist them pulling us back to 1650.

People want to downplay the idea that "this is the most important election of our life" but it really is. The GOP is both extremely weak and extremely radicalized. Its a wounded cornered animal. Its been bad enough that it might rattle enough apathetic voters/nonvoters into taking action against it and giving us a decisive defeat of a political party/ideology.

Conversely if it wins its going to get much worse much faster. The GOP knows it would be lucky to survive this election going off votes. If they take power they aren't going to risk it on things like elections again.
