It's what happens when ignorant people are allowed to believe their opinions are as legitimate as facts. They don't know the walls weren't built in 2005 after IDF withdrew from Gaza and exhumed upwards of 5k Israeli graves from Gaza. They don't know the walls were built in 2007 after constant attacks and suicide bombing from Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist organizations. They probably also don't know Egypt also has walls along the border it shares with Gaza and it also regularly shuts down its aid corridor into Gaza because again terrorists shoot at aid convoys. When all nuance and context is stripped from an incredibly complex geopolitical situation (Israel-Palestine conflict isn't a local conflict, it's nature is global through Hamas's ties to Iran and thereby its proxies and the broader Axis of Resistance, if people think there aren't Russian trolls and bots pushing antisemitic and anti Israel propaganda and misinformation then they're delusional) only then can claims like open air prison and that victim of genocidal attack is committing genocide can be made (Israel has however committed war crimes but it's actions in Gaza don't come anywhere close to genocide, much of Palestinian casualties can be attributed to the reality of Hamas having deeply infiltrated civilian population and its use of civilian infrastructure for purpose of human shields and carrying out attacks. Because it forces Israel to treat them as military target then and civilian casualties become unavoidable and inevitable in those circumstances, which is Hamas's goal.)
