That is not exactly my point, sure indexes grow. but if all the liquidity in the market is running into explicitly one direction, it causes a bubble, and while it is fun to be invested in the growth phase of a bubble, it hurts still to be invested in the bust phase. If the only thing driving market expectations at the moment are the big five tech companies with their hype about AI, the realization that it doesn't hold its promises will lead to the repetition of the dotcom bubble.
